Thanksgiving and First Big Snow

It snowed about 2 inches today. I had to shovel the driveway this afternoon in order to get to a cookie exchange with some friends. Since Daddy wasn't around today, I had to bundle Audrey up and take her outside with me to "help". She mainly stood in the garage entrance and watched me shovel. Between the sound of the scraping of the shovel across the concrete and the snow hitting her face, and barely being able to walk thanks to the way-too-big snow pants, I'm not sure what Audrey thought of it all. She did run down the driveway with a squeal once I cleared it...very cute!

Here is a pic of her striking a pose in her Thanksgiving dress. We had dinner with our friends Ernie and Barb from church this year. (we saved all of our vacation time for a big trip to see family at Christmas). They are a nice couple who have kind of become Audrey's in-town "grandparents". They actually gave us the highchair that Audrey is sitting in up on the title bar. It is Barb's 75+ year old highchair that I recently refinished. It turned out really nice. I hope it lasts for years.

Katie, she is sooooo cute. The snow/snowpants pictures are priceless, too! Jealous of all the snow! First big snow is always such a magical feeling for me. Also, the high chair looks great. You know I have always loved it.
