Happy Easter!

Easter is one of my favorite holidays. It comes at a time when the trees are budding, the daffodils are out, and the chill of winter is leaving. And while I am always thankful at Thanksgiving, I think I might be even more thankful at Easter time...for God's beautiful creation as it returns to life, for the blessings my family and I share, and for the joy of the Resurrection.
This year Easter was shortened a little because Daniel had to leave again for Army training on Sunday, but nonetheless, we had a great time at our church's Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, and attending services on Sunday. I loved hearing the sweet voices of all of our children's choirs, and was blown away by the talent some of our high school girls have.
Below are some pics from the weekend.

Audrey did pretty well on her first try at egg hunting!

Our little family.
Hope you all had a Happy Easter!
